1. Every year St. Ambrose Parish lovingly gives families the gift of food for Thanksgiving.  A wonderful way to show our thanks to God for all His many blessings to us – is by helping less fortunate families have a beautiful Thanksgiving meal.We need the following items: Turkeys – 15 to 20 pounds is the best!  Canned: Green Beans, Potatoes, Yams, Pumpkin, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Crunchy French Onions, Jars of Gravy, Corn, Cranberries, etc… (We ask for non-perishable canned goods because we don’t want any food to go to waste and we can store them to be used for Thursday Food Pantry.) Marshmallows, Stuffing, And VOLUNTEERS!

Is Thanksgiving shopping a bit much for you? The office will also accept grocery store gift cards from Aldi’s Publix, Winn Dixie, etc. . . and then food pantry volunteers will purchase what is needed to fill in the Thanksgiving baskets. Anything that you can do to help out is very greatly appreciated.

Please bring your food items to the Rectory Office before November 16th. The food will be handed out the week before Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 16th from 9 to 10 a.m.

Thank you and God Bless You for caring and sharing.
